after save-the-pets.com has achieved their goal of 100.000 signatures [on 01-20-09 they had 1200], they will hand over the petition to the the national comitee of the chinese kommunists party. the petition text will ask them, to immediately stop the curelty to animals producing food and luxury goods.

On April 12, 2006, Associated Press photographer Bilal Hussein was detained by the US Forces in Iraq and has been held in prison ever since.

No formal charges have been presented yet against Bilal, who is behind bars for having the courage to photograph Iraqi insurgents. Bilal was part of an AP team that won the Pulitzer Prize in 2005 for its coverage of the Iraq war.

Bilal’s arrest and imprisonment are a serious affront to the press as a whole, as well as to democratic traditions.

Mal ehrlich, um das festzustellen laufe ich mit offenen Augen durch unser Land und informiere mich über seriöse Medien, brauche aber keinen PR getrimmten und Hollywood gebürsteten Hamster im Laufrad.

Es wird uns grossmundig von DER historischen Chance erzählt, das Blatt zu wenden und aus der Schuldenfalle rauszukommen.

Herr Steinbrück, dann handeln Sie und Ihre Kollegen es doch einfach. Nicht reden, machen! Andere, oft sehr sinnentleerte Dinge, machen unsere Politiker doch auch. Ja, sogar ohne beim Volke mit viralem Marketing zu werben. In der Wirtschaft erscheint mir diese Art der Werbung schon recht unpassend, aber in der Politik halte ich das für absolut inakzeptabel. Wenn das die Politische Kommunikation des 21. Jahrhunderts wird, na dann gute Nacht!

Zum Schluss sei noch bemerkt, das ich den Film-Clip aus künstlerischer sicht ziemlich niveaulos und plump empfinde. Ich frage mich auch, warum sich ein renomierter Regisseur, der so fantastische Filme wie z.B. "Am Limit" dreht, auf so etwas einlässt? Ãœberzeugung? Geld? Publicity? Ãœberzeugung kann ich akzeptieren. Sollte der Regisseur [Pepe Danquart] es jedoch für den "schnöden Mammon" sowie Ruhm und Ehre gedreht haben, tut er mir leid!
